The EdgeXOS platform was designed from the ground up to provide various forms of network optimization. The XRoads Operating System (XOS) includes our unique UBM architecture. Each EdgeXOS platform is built on a solid state hardware platform which provides scalable performance for both the SMB and Enterprise markets.

UBM Enterprise Family

The UBM family of products incorporate all of the functionality of the EdgeXOS platform. The full licensing enables customers to take advantage of all of the capabilities of the product line. The extensive feature sets provide granular network control however the web interface ensures that configuration is easy to master.

50 Branch Series - This series is designed for small and/or remote offices with under ten users and less than 10Mbps of bandwidth. This series provides an extensive feature set and rich security and bandwidth management functions however they are limited in scalability and multiple features should not be used at the same time.

55 / 100 / 200 Office Series - This series is designed for larger offices with ten to several hundred users and less than 100Mbps. These units were designed with faster route processors and have more built-in memory which gives them greater scale and the ability to support many simaltaneous functions, like XFlow and Dynamic Bandwidth Management.

500 / 800 / 1000 Enterprise Series - This series is designed for HQ offices and data centers with several hundred to thousands of users and up to 10Gbps. These units were designed with fastest route processors and have built-in internal terabit storage capabilities and multi-GB memory modules which ensures to highest throughput rates for maximum session flows. Perfect for managing multiple sites and/or managing mission critical server connectivity.

aXcel Dedicated Solution Family

The aXcel family of products is designed for simple installation and inexpensive scalability. The aXcel platform can support network throughput rates from 20Mbps up to 350Mbps and have solution specific licensing in order to make deploying the aXcel solutions quick and easy.

CLOUDaXcel - Accelerates and provided automated failover for cloud-based applications like NetSuite, SalesForce, Microsoft Live, and others. Includes built-in QoS prioritization for these cloud-based services and dynamic bandwidth management to prevent large file downloads from effecting cloud service connectivity.

WEBaXcel - Provides accelerated web connectivity for end-users by leveraging multiple WAN connections. The WEBaXcel product combines multiple ISP broadband circuits for faster network connectivity and redundancy (also includes simple URL filtering).

NETaXcel - Guarantee bandwidth for critical applications like VoIP and ensure equal distribution of bandwidth to end-users during periods of high bandwidth utiliation with the NETaXcel traffic manager.

SERVERaXcel - This ultimate server load balancing solution distributes applications across multiple servers and Ethernet links in order to ensure a higher degree of redundancy and availability then possible with other server load balancers.

LINKaXcel - Bond multiple ISP connections together without BGP to dramatically increase network throughput, provide more bandwidth to end-users, and ensure automated redundancy in the event of a network outage.

WANaXcel - Improves NetBIOS, Citrix and RDP performance between two sites through network optimization. The WANaXcel product increases site-to-site Microsoft downloads via data caching and compression, and speeds up Citrix and RDP traffic by using multiple WAN link tunnel bonding, with built-in tunnel redundancy.

VPNaXcel - This remote access system provides teleworkers, remote sales, and others with simple remote access to corporate resources through our Site2Site software client, with built-in network redundancy capabilities and the ability to balance inbound clients between multiple links, thus improving performance.
